How to Capture Screenshots in Google Chrome without using Extensions?

There are lot of options to take screenshots from desktop like:

1> You can use the Print Screen key (or Cmd+Shift+4 on a Mac),

2> Snapshot utility like SnagIt

3> the Windows builtin Snipping Tool,

4> Google Chrome extension like Smartshot that lets you capture the screen.

5> PSR.exe – windows builtin Problem Steps Recorder

but if you dont want to go with that the the Google Chrome have a built-in screenshot capabilities allowing to perform screen captures without install any extensions or additional tool. The more interesting part is that you can even add device frames to your captured images…

Lets get started..

Step 1 –  open any web page inside Google Chrome and go to Settings -> Tools -> Developer Tools or just press F12 on Windows or Cmd+Opt+I on a Mac.

Step 2 –  toggle the Device Toolbar button (or ctrl+shift+m for windows machine) so that it turns blue. Now select any mobile device from the built-in list of device presets. Set the zoom to 100% and click the Rotate icon to change the orientation (default is portrait mode).

Your screenshot is ready..
